Hello!! My name is Whitney Russell. I graduated from Halls High School in 2004. I went to the Universitiy of Tennessee for the first two years of my college experience. After that, I transferred to Pellissippi State Community College. I am currently in the Education program at Tusculum College. I am majoring in Elementary Education and hope to teach first or second grade once I graduate. I have been doing practicum this semester and know that this is exactly what I want to do. I want to hopefully teach in Anderson County School System or Union County School System.
I work at Statcare Pulmonary Consultants currently. My official title is Medical Records Tech, but I do so much more than that. I really like my job and love all the people I work with. I will only be there another year because I will be starting my student teaching in January of 2010.
I coach a 10 and under softball team at Willow Creek Softball Park. I also give pitching lessons for softball players. I love UT football and Atlanta Braves Baseball. A hobby that I absolutely love is scrapbooking.
